How disputes are resolved fairly with escrow mediation

When a deal goes sideways, mediation keeps it fair. Here is how the process works.

How disputes are resolved

Most deals finish smoothly, but when they do not, the escrowed funds stay frozen — nobody can grab the money and run.

Either party can open a dispute and share their side, along with any evidence such as messages, screenshots, or delivery proof. The DealPilot mediation team reviews the signed contract and the facts.

Based on that, the funds can be released to the seller, refunded to the buyer, or split fairly between them. Because the money never left escrow, the outcome is always enforceable — and fair to both sides.
